OGE Academy and Xodus deliver joint training course

04.07.2017

19 to 23 June 2017, OGE Academy held a course titled “Subsea Production Systems” in Sochi. The attendees represented such companies as Russia’s Zarubezhneft and LUKOIL and Kazakhstan’s KazMunaiGaz.

Lectures delivered by Mr. Evgeny Suchkov, Offshore Project Manager with Oilteam, were enhanced by practicals using QUE$TOR software for cost-estimation of subsea infrastructure, courtesy of IHS Markit.

We were delighted to be able to join forces on this course with Mr. Neil Smith, Senior Consultant for Offshore Developments with Xodus Group, who was involved as one of the instructors alongside Mr. Suchkov. Relying on his 36 years’ industrial experience, Mr. Smith covered aspects like subsea equipment, processing, flow assurance, and project management.

As UK-Russia Year of Science and Education keeps unfolding, OGE Academy remains committed to offering the best the two countries can provide in terms of training for oil and gas professionals.
